My Yoga Tribe
Finding Isvara has officially made it to Miami! As I'm sure many of you already know, the four of us are here to practice with the Ashtanga yoga Paramaguru Sharath Jois. We've traveled from all over, Vermont, Oklahoma, Venezuela, and Cocoa Beach, Florida; No amount of distance could prevent us from coming together for this once in a lifetime experience.
This is the first time I have seen Carolyn, Courtney, and Lisa since our time together last summer at the Miami Life Center Ashtanga Intensive. That said, I talk to these women every single day, often multiple times a day. When we started our blog, I am almost certain that none of us had any idea the amount of time and dedication this project would require. It takes constant effort, thought, discussions, editing, writing, re-writing, more discussions, the list goes on... And I can honestly say, we love every minute of it. We have become very close, despite the distances between us. These ladies have truly become my yoga tribe and my dear friends.
This experience we're having right now in Miami... It's profound. My head and heart are slightly in the clouds while I process exactly what is happening, therefore I'm not going to get into much detail at the moment. I truly want to be as present as possible this week, soaking up every experience, every minute, every breath.
What I will say is that I am wildly grateful for these spectacular women in my life, who inspire me on a daily basis. They're the real deal. Being able to share this magical second in time with them is a gift... I am so very lucky. Also, a huge thank you to my amazing boyfriend who has made this entire trip possible... I wouldn't be here without you.
More to come this week!
