Yogi or Snot Monster???
It's fall -- which means it's snot season. The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are falling, and as soon as the little kiddies go back to school in September, their mamas and daddies start bringing the germs to yoga class. Those little buggers spread like wildfire in a hot and sweaty yoga room; getting sick is sometimes unavoidable.
And yes, I'm sick now. A stuffy, runny, sneezy head cold has turned itself into a cough that keeps me awake a night. Combine sickness and sleep deprivation with a daily 6:00am yoga mat call time, and well, yeah -- I feel like crap.
When sickness strikes, I have a few go-to bottles of potion that help to kick some virus ass. I'm hippy-dippy in the sense that I avoid over the counter medicine when possible. These herbal powerhouse concoctions are amazing and help to get me back on my feet quickly:
